The Old Republic Roleplay|Site Info

If you enjoyed The Esseles walkthrough, but thought it was missing something evil, then BioWare has just what you wanted! Today they have released a walkthrough of the first few minutes of The Eternity Vault, a level 50 operation centered on the icy world of Belsavis. On this frozen tundra, the ongoing war has lead both sides to stumble upon an ancient Rakata prison housing unknown technologies and a mysterious prisoner known only as The Infernal One. Republic players don't worry however, because The Eternity Vault is playable by groups from both sides in The Old Republic, though this video only showcases the Sith.

What a video! Today we get to see a small part of the Esseles flashpoint. An early instance that Republic players will run into soon after leaving their starting world, the Esseles is a transport carrying a wanted enemy of the Empire. Grand Moff Kilran and his Imperial battlecruiser have disabled the ship, and are sending men aboard to go after their prey. The Republic heroes must stage a daring defense of the ship in what turns out to be just a small part of a larger storyline.

From a gameplay perspective, this is a much needed look into how the classes function together in combat. Each has a special attacks, such as the Consular's projectile and Trooper's hammer shot that are constantly seen and mentioned. The players controlling the four characters work together seamlessly and follow their roles. How well this works with players that aren't working for BioWare remains to be seen, but it's nice to know that the classes support each other naturally. The Smuggler picks off the weaker enemies while the Jedi focus on the big guys, and the trooper plays crowd control. To find out what else happens and see the video for yourself, read on!
